| By Car : | From Oban (west): Take theA85 (signposted Crianlarich, Fort William) from Oban to Taynuilt. Shortly after Taynuilt turn right onto the B845 (signposted Kilchrenan). Stay on the B845 for 15 miles until you arrive at Dalavich. From Crianlarich (east): Take the A82 (signposted Fort William, Oban). At Tyndrum turn left onto the A85 (signposted Oban). Continue through Loch Awe. At Taynuilt turn left onto the B845 (signposted Kilchrenan). Stay on the B845 for 15 miles until you arrive at Dalavich. From Glasgow (south): Take the A82 from Dumbarton, (signposted Crianlarich, Stirling) and continue on the A82 to Tyndrum. Turn left onto the A85 (signposted Oban) Continue through Loch Awe. At Taynuilt turn left onto the B845 (signposted Kilchrenan). Stay on the B845 for 15 miles until you arrive at Dalavich. When you reach Dalavich village, take the second road on the left (past the shop/post office) and The Old School is the first entrance on the left. You can't miss us! | | | | By Train : | Trains run from Oban and Glasgow to the railway station in Taynuilt. If you are travelling by bike, it’s a 15 mile cycle along the the B845 (signposted Kilchrenan) from Taynuilt. We can organise to pick you up from Taynuilt station, if required. | | | | By Air : | The nearest airports are Prestwick Airport (125 miles), Inverness Airport (136 miles), Glasgow Airport (100 miles) and Edinburgh Airport (117 miles). From there you can travel by car or train to Taynuilt. We will be happy to advise you further or organise transport from the airports for you.
